Location: Orange County, California

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts; call required 8 days per month; weekend coverage exceeding every other weekend as needed

Highlights:

• Invasive cardiac cath lab performing coronary angiograms, PCIs, permanent and temporary pacemakers, and advanced interventional procedures
• Electrophysiology experience strongly preferred; ideal candidate has extensive panning and circulating experience in EP and heart caths
• Daily census of 15 patients across 3 procedure rooms in a 488-bed acute care hospital
• Epic charting system; free parking provided
• May float to nearby partner facility as needed
• 10 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active California state license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• BLS certification and Fluoroscopy Permit required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
• Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Strong skills in cardiac ablation, electrophysiology evaluation, cardiac mapping, and cardioversion highly preferred
• Proficiency in panning, circulating, and maintaining sterile field essential
• Experience with Rotablader, pacemakers, vital signs monitoring, and rhythm interpretation preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
