Start Date: July 13, 2026 (following successful completion of privileging process)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift with call coverage one day per week and one weekend approximately every four weeks. Weekend work only required during call rotation. Floating within facility and to main OR as needed based on scope of practice.

Highlights:

• Work with a comprehensive cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgical program including advanced transplant services
• Exposure to a wide range of complex cardiovascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, VAD placement, and TAVR
• Epic charting system in a Level I or Level II trauma center environment
• 1:1 patient ratio providing focused, high-quality surgical assistance
• Privileging process begins approximately 120 days prior to start date to ensure thorough onboarding
• Contract length determines orientation hours with comprehensive facility orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active CSFA, NBSTSA, or NCCSA certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Georgia or Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Extensive experience in cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic procedures is mandatory
• Heart transplant experience highly preferred
• Two supervisory references from Manager level or above required
• Must be available to complete required documentation and labs within 48 hours of contract signature
• COVID-19 vaccination not required; flu vaccine status to be determined
