Job Opportunity – Long Term Care Registered Nurse – Alaska

Start Date: May 19, 2026
Location: Alaska
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Choice of 3x12 or 4x12 variable shifts (days or nights based on facility needs); 1:20 nurse-to-patient ratio

Highlights:

  • Choose your own contract length: 13 or 26 weeks
  • Long term care setting with 40 staffed beds serving adult and geriatric populations
  • Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, TBI, and cognitive/physical impairments
  • ECS charting system; facility provides free parking
  • Facility-provided vehicle available for use during assignment
  • Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week pay period

Requirements:

  • Active Alaska RN license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 1 year of registered nursing experience
  • Long term care experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • BLS certification current and valid
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Hepatitis B vaccination required (medical exemption with provider documentation accepted)
  • Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and minimum age of 25 if accepting facility vehicle
  • Alaska Food Worker Certification obtained during onsite orientation (one-time $10 fee)
