Description
Start Date: May 13, 2026 (subject to orientation schedule confirmation)
Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: First shift with call rotation, staggered start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Call rotation includes primary call approximately once every 4 weeks, backup call approximately 7 days every 9 weeks, and weekend coverage every 5th-6th weekend.
Highlights:
- Comprehensive IR caseload of 13-17 procedures daily including neuro/stroke interventions and body procedures
- Advanced procedural experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, kyphoplasty, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies, and venous access
- Work with Siemens and Philips x-ray equipment in a well-equipped interventional suite
- 13-week contract with structured orientation and ongoing professional development
- Primarily adult and geriatric patient population with diverse case mix
- Epic charting system with PACS and contrast imaging protocols
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year scrub experience in Interventional Radiology required; neuro experience essential
- Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- BLS certification and ARRT (R) registration required; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
- Hands-on experience with Siemens and Philips x-ray equipment required
- Proficiency in contrast imaging, PACS, and all IR procedures including vascular studies, neurological studies, and genitourinary procedures
- Inpatient hospital experience required; Level I trauma, outpatient, OR, ER, and ablation experience preferred
- North Carolina or Compact license required at start; pending acceptable for submission
- Epic and Visage experience preferred
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
