Description
Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend
Highlights:
- Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required
- Fast-paced emergency department environment with diverse patient population
- Opportunity to utilize advanced emergency nursing skills in high-acuity setting
- May include management of ED behavioral health holds as needed
- Consistent night shift schedule with predictable rotation
- Contract assignment with defined duration
Requirements:
- Active Connecticut RN license or compact state license
- Minimum 1-2 years of Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center ED experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – current
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – current
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification – current
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification – current
- Willingness and ability to manage psychiatric/behavioral health patients in ED hold status
