Description
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 5x8 day shifts, Monday through Friday with weekend rotation (every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule). Shift times vary between 0700-1530, 0730-1600, 0800-1630, or 0830-1700. Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period.

- 407 staffed beds with 24-hour orientation and comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more
- Epic EMR system with Microsoft Office/Teams integration
- Manage discharge planning and care coordination across diverse patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Float within case management services to support various departments as needed
- 13-week assignment with one time-off request allowed (5 days or less)
Requirements:
- Active Alaska RN license (must be in hand prior to offer)
- BLS certification (preferred)
- ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Strong skills in care coordination, discharge planning, CMS guidelines, and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Minimum 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of comparable experience within the last 3 years
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
