Description
Start Date: April 27, 2026
Location: Amarillo, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, plus call coverage; 8-hour shifts
Highlights:
- Dedicated CVOR setting with comprehensive cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases
- Typical procedures include Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts, valve replacements, Carotid Endarterectomy, and Aortic Abdominal Aneurysm repairs
- Cerner EMR system in use
- Patient-centered care model with emphasis on service excellence
- Monday through Friday schedule with predictable call rotation
- Travel assignment requiring residence 100+ miles from facility
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- Current Texas Registered Nurse license (or eligibility for licensure)
- CVOR experience required: minimum 3 years
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- BSN highly desired
- Candidates with 1+ years OR experience in both scrubbing and circulating may be considered
