Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling flexibility; minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period

Highlights:

• 16-bed Neuro ICU with diverse patient population and complex acuity levels
• Patient ratios of 2:1, adjusted to 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity and staffing needs
• Advanced critical care equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 monitoring systems
• Meditech electronic documentation system
• Unit secretary support during day shift; self-scheduling model with managerial oversight for balanced staffing
• Exposure to advanced procedures including central line insertions, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD placements

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• ICU nursing experience mandatory
• Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required for unit dress code
