Description
Start Date: March 23, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week contract; includes 6 weekend shifts per schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday); no on-call required
Highlights:
- 20-bed Intensive Care Unit with 1:1 or 2:1 patient ratios
- Experience with advanced critical care equipment including Prismax CRRT, Tablo SLED, Alaris IV pumps, and GE bedside monitors
- Diverse case mix including respiratory patients on vents, BiPap, trachs, and airvo systems
- Perform and assist with central line insertions, chest tubes, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and intubations
- EMR: Meditech
- Collaborative team environment with experienced permanent staff
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Proficiency managing titratable drips and understanding hemodynamics
- Experience caring for respiratory patients including ventilators, BiPap, tracheostomies, and high-flow systems
- Preferred: CRRT and SLED experience
