Description
Start Date: April 27, 2026
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required. Patient ratio of 1:6. Floating within facility and scope of practice may be required as needed.
Highlights:
- General Medical/Surgical unit serving adult to geriatric patient populations
- Epic electronic medical record system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocol
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience
- Supportive interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- Holiday scheduling based on number of holidays during assignment period
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
- Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred
- Skills including blood product administration, central line blood draw, IV management, wound care, PCA pumps, and more
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Full compliance required to start on time; must be able to submit core documents and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing
