Schedule: 13-week contract, 48-hour orientation, 6-8 weekend shifts required per contract

Highlights:

• Specialized oncology unit serving 75 patients daily with 56 rooms available
• Work with diverse patient population including hematology oncology (CAR-T/BMT/Stem Cell Transplant) and solid tumors (GYN, GI, GU, Breast, and Thoracic)
• Epic charting system required; comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, rapid response, and social services
• Patient ratio of 7:1 during day shifts; no on-call or floating requirements
• Advanced oncology procedures including chemotherapy administration, port management, CADD pumps, and PAS-ports
• Care for all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Requirements:

• Active California RN License (must be active at time of submission; pending or temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant oncology nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• BLS and Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
• OCN certification preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
