Job Opportunity – Ultrasound/Echocardiography Technologist – New York

Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Plainview, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday with on-call coverage required 5pm–8am weekdays and 24 hours Saturday and Sunday

• Dual-modality position requiring both vascular ultrasound and echocardiography expertise
• 49-bed short-term acute care facility with Level IV Trauma Center designation
• Epic charting system with a patient ratio of 8:1
• Comprehensive skills utilization including adult echo, contrast echo, stress echocardiograms, and full-spectrum vascular studies
• Opportunity to assist with precepting clinicians in a fast-paced environment
• Three exam rooms with interdisciplinary radiology support

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound/Echo Technologist
• ARDMS, ARDMS RVT, and CCI or RDCS certifications required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency in vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, renal artery duplex, upper and lower extremity arterial and venous studies
• Demonstrated competency in adult echocardiography, contrast echo, and stress echocardiogram (treadmill)
• Experience with general and fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, and abdominal exams
• Epic charting system experience required
• Valid state license or compact license required at time of submission
