Job Opportunity – Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: May 11, 2026 (additional start dates: May 18 or June 1, 2026)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 32-hour orientation period; weekend rotations and some holidays required

Highlights:

• Pediatric operating room experience in ambulatory OR and trauma settings
• Work with a comprehensive range of pediatric surgical specialties including ENT, orthopedic, general, and neurosurgery
• Epic charting system utilized
• Level I and Level II trauma experience essential
• Magnet-designated facility with nationally recognized pediatric specialists
• Up to two weeks of pre-approved time off available (subject to manager approval)

Requirements:

• Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care pediatric OR experience within the last 3 years
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• PALS certification preferred
• Pediatric trauma experience required
• Ambulatory OR experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must pass telemetry competency exam with strict passing criteria (100% accuracy on lethal rhythms, no errors on 3rd degree heart blocks, 80% overall passing score)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
