Description
Start Date: May 13, 2026
Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: First shift, 4x10 hours/day Monday-Friday with staggered start times between 0700-0830; rotating call coverage including Primary call (one day approximately every 4 weeks and every 5th-6th weekend) and Back-up call (approximately 7 days including a weekend every 9 weeks)
Highlights:
- Comprehensive Interventional Radiology case mix including neuro/stroke interventions and body procedures with daily caseload of 13-17 patients
- Perform advanced IR procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
- Work with Siemens and Philips x-ray equipment in a well-equipped department
- 13-week travel assignment with structured orientation during week one
- Primarily adult and geriatric patient population with some adolescent cases
- Scrubs provided by facility
Requirements:
- ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Neuro and stroke intervention experience in IR setting is essential
- Minimum 1 year scrub experience with neuro procedures required
- Inpatient hospital experience with PACS and contrast administration required
- Proficiency with Siemens and Philips x-ray equipment required; Acuson experience preferred
- Epic and McKesson EMR experience preferred
- North Carolina or Compact state license required at start
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
