Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts with on-call requirements

Highlights:

• Work in a high-acuity, high-volume Cardiovascular Operating Room at a nationally recognized 665-bed quaternary teaching hospital
• Advanced case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, aortic repairs, transplants, and complex vascular procedures in state-of-the-art hybrid OR suites
• EPIC charting system; hospital-provided scrubs
• On-call requirement: one 48-hour weekend per month plus two 8-hour weekday shifts
• First-time travelers and local candidates welcome at competitive rates
• Opportunity to float to Main OR for exposure to orthopedic, general, laparoscopic, GYN, robotic, neuro, and pediatric surgery

Requirements:

• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2.5 years of CVOR experience required
• Circulating experience required; scrub experience preferred
• Transplant experience required (cardiac, lung, and/or kidney highly preferred)
• Proficiency in cardiovascular procedures: valve replacement, CABG, TAVR, aortic aneurysm repair, dissection, VATs
• Vascular experience required: endovascular AAA, carotid endarterectomy, arteriogram, angiogram, TCAR, AV fistula, femoral-popliteal bypass graft
• Hybrid room experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be available to work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit needs
