Job Opportunity – GI/Endoscopy Registered Nurse (Scrub) – California

Start Date: May 11, 2026
Location: Southern California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday–Friday, no weekend requirement; floating within hospital required; no on-call

Highlights:

• Work with diverse patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric endoscopy patients
• Scrub experience required for GI procedures performed under general anesthesia, MAC, and moderate sedation
• Procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, PEG placement, GI bleed management, EUS, ERCP, and specimen handling
• 7-room endoscopy suite with 26-bed capacity serving inpatient, outpatient, and ICU patients
• Epic charting system; 20 hours of orientation provided
• First-time travelers welcomed with appropriate experience

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be permanent, not temporary, at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years of GI/Endoscopy experience required
• Pediatric endoscopy, PACU, inpatient, and scrub experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and LA Fire Card
• Proficiency with Epic charting system highly preferred
• Experience with conscious sedation administration and recovery, airway management, and specimen handling
• Familiarity with equipment including Olympus, ERBE, Fujifilm, Boston Scientific, and COOK accessories
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions available
