Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – Wisconsin

Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (0700-1900), day/evening rotation with every other weekend, holiday coverage, and 1 on-call shift every 6-week period. Option for 4x12 schedule available.

Requirements:

• Wisconsin RCP license (pending at time of submittal is accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a staff respiratory therapist
• Experience in academic Level 1 Trauma Center or similar-sized facility required
• Both pediatric and adult patient experience required
• Graduate of COARC-accredited respiratory therapy program
• NBRC-RRT certification required
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (AHA only)
• Proficiency with mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, high flow oxygen therapy, and airway management
• Experience with critical care procedures including aerosol therapy, tracheostomy care, chest physiotherapy, and bronchoscopy assistance
