Start Date: May 11, 2026
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday rotation

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment with 60 hours of orientation
• Float pool position covering PICU, NICU, Pediatric Medical-Surgical, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric ED, and Postpartum/Mother Baby units
• Epic EMR system utilized across all units
• Patient ratios vary by unit: PICU 1:2, NICU 1:2-1:3, Acute Pediatrics 1:4-1:5
• State-of-the-art pediatric facilities with cutting-edge technology including ECMO and advanced respiratory therapies
• Up to 40 hours of approved time off available during contract

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• NICU and PICU float pool experience strongly preferred; must be comfortable floating to all pediatric units
• Pediatric PACU experience highly preferred
• Active RN license (Virginia license may be pending at submission but must be in hand the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Dr. Browns Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be pending at submission)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• BSN preferred
• Must adhere to facility float policy and protocols
