Pediatric Acute Care Float Pool - Registered Nurse

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Float pool position covering various pediatric units including:
- PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)
- NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
- Pediatric Med/Surg
- Pediatric PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
- Pediatric ED boarders
- Postpartum / Mother-Baby units
Night shift: 4 shifts of 12 hours (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
Schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday
Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed
Up to 40 hours can be approved for time off

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of recent PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
Experience in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
