Description
Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Carmel, Indiana
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Friday/Saturday nights, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM; on-call required 1 weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays per month; 2 out of 3 major holidays required
Highlights:
- Multi-modality position combining CT and general X-ray in a 153-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Modern equipment including 2 Phillips IQon CT scanners, 2 Siemens DR X-ray rooms, and Carestream portables
- Diverse patient population including ER, inpatient, outpatient, adult and pediatric cases at a Stroke Level 1 accredited facility
- Cerner charting system with free parking and professional royal blue scrubs provided
- Guaranteed hours: 36-48 hours per workweek depending on shift structure
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience
Requirements:
- ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications required
- BLS certification current and in hand
- Indiana state license required prior to start date (pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT/X-ray technologist
- Proficiency in general X-ray procedures required; must be comfortable performing portable imaging
- Ability to work independently and comfortably handle solo shifts
- Experience with Siemens, Carestream portable equipment, and Phillips systems preferred
- Competency in IV starts and contrast media administration
- 2 supervisor references required for submission
