Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Thursday through Saturday block schedule preferred; flexibility for Monday through Saturday may be considered. No Sundays. No on-call requirements.

Highlights:

• Specialize in wound care within a 212-bed acute care hospital setting
• Treat surgical, chronic, and trauma wounds with daily census up to 10 patients
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation
• Work with advanced wound care modalities including wound vac therapy, sharp debridement, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy
• 30 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful integration

Requirements:

• Active California RN license in hand prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based wound care experience required
• WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing) certification OR Wound Care Certification required
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Epic charting experience highly preferred
• First-time travelers must have 5 or more years of experience
• Proficiency in wound vac therapy, pressure ulcer management, neuropathic and peripheral arterial ulcer assessment and management
