Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – New York

Start Date: May 24, 2026
Location: Albany, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend, three holiday shifts per season

Highlights:

• Work with diverse patient populations across all age groups with pulmonary disorders
• Full scope of respiratory care including airway management, endotracheal intubations/extubations, and emergency life support

• Perform diagnostic testing, utilize cardiopulmonary equipment, and provide comprehensive patient assessments

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or Respiratory Care
• Active NBRC credential
• Active New York State Respiratory Therapist license
• 3+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care hospital setting, including Emergency Department and adult critical care
• 1+ year experience in a Level 3 NICU preferred
