Description
Start Date: April 22, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift per month
Highlights:
- 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit within a dedicated Women's and Children's facility
- 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio ensuring quality care
- Comprehensive case mix including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C procedures, cerclage placement, and epidural anesthesia support
- Documentation systems include CPN and Meditach for streamlined workflows
- Collaborative team environment with RNs, unit secretaries, and OR techs providing support
- Opportunities for tub labor and modern labor and delivery practices
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate (or CEFM)
- Advanced skills in care of laboring patients, immediate newborn care, and ability to circulate and recover cesarean section patients
- Commitment to shared decision-making and patient-centered care
