Job Opportunity – Wound Care Nurse Consultant / Educator – Pennsylvania

Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Self-scheduling, no weekends required, no floating, 16-hour orientation

Highlights:

• Wound care consultant and educator role supporting a 350-bed facility serving adult and geriatric populations
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Cerner charting system experience preferred; Trauma Level I experience a plus
• First-time travelers welcome; 3-5 years of wound care experience required
• Two pre-approved time off requests available; local rate differential applies for candidates within 50-mile radius
• No call or weekend coverage required

Requirements:

• Pennsylvania or Compact State nursing license required at time of submission
• WOCN certification (candidates with pending certification or WCC will be considered)
• BLS certification required
• 3-5 years of experience as a wound care consultant or educator
• Expertise in pressure ulcer assessment and management, ostomy care, VAC therapy, and wound care protocols
• Valid professional references and certification copies required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Pennsylvania fingerprints and childline clearance required
