Description
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Utica, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM; block scheduling available but not guaranteed; floating required
Highlights:
- 64-bed Emergency Department with diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- High-acuity case mix: stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- Specialty equipment experience including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
- Unit includes 40 acute beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU beds, 6 psych beds, 6 super track, and 2 triage
- EPIC EMR system
- Charge nurse capability highly preferred
Requirements:
- Active New York RN license
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric exposure
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (TNCC must be in hand prior to start)
- EPIC EMR experience required
