Description
Start Date: June 30, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. Patient ratio approximately 1:6 (estimated, not guaranteed). Travel assignment.
Highlights:
- 36-bed Neuro Trauma / Telemetry unit with experienced team of 70 total staff members
- Night shift staffing includes 7 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs for collaborative care delivery
- EMR system: Meditech
- Standard telemetry equipment including Kangaroo Pumps
- Exposure to specialized procedures including bubble studies and EEG monitoring
- Supportive, engaged team environment with flexible, positive staff culture
Requirements:
- Current RN license in Kansas or compact state licensure
- BLS and ACLS certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital telemetry experience (required)
- NIH stroke scale certification preferred
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong engagement with team and patients
