Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool RN – Ohio

Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift; 36-hour orientation; weekend shifts assigned based on staffing needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of progressive care or step-down nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
• Demonstrated competency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Epic charting system experience required
• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license) in hand at time of application
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Skills required: cardiac telemetry, central line management, arterial line management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, insulin protocols, ABG interpretation, wound care, and tracheostomy care
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal supervisor)
• Must be willing to complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
