Job Opportunity – Critical Care Float Pool RN – Ohio

Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts | Weekend nights Friday/Saturday 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM plus one additional day (36 hours/week)

Highlights:

• Float across multiple critical care units including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, CVICU, and Cardiology/Diagnostics based on staffing needs and patient acuity
• Work with a 2:1 patient ratio across all shifts
• Collaborate with a large interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• 36-hour orientation provided to support your transition
• Exposure to diverse critical care patient populations including transplant patients (kidney, liver, lung, heart)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Demonstrated competency in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
• Willingness to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
