Description
Start Date: June 17, 2026 (subject to change based on orientation scheduling)
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Weekend shift, 2x16-hour shifts (Saturday/Sunday, 6:30 AM – 11:00 PM). No call required. Floating to affiliate locations as needed based on census.
Highlights:
- Comprehensive MRI experience across multiple anatomical areas including neuro, musculoskeletal, body, and vascular imaging
- Work with GE and Siemens equipment in a modern imaging environment
- Epic charting system with PACS integration
- 12 hours of unit orientation following hospital orientation week
- Patient populations include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with average daily census of 16
- Opportunities for advanced imaging techniques including MRA, MRV, MRCP, and specialized post-processing
Requirements:
- ARRT-MRI certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- Epic charting experience required
- Competency in adult outpatient MRI, ER/trauma imaging, and multiple anatomical specialties
- Skills in IV starts, contrast administration, and isolation precautions/PPE
- Experience with various MRI sequences and techniques: T1/T2 weighted images, gradient echo, spin echo, diffusion imaging, and image post-processing
- North Carolina or Compact state license required at start (pending acceptable for submission)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Willingness to float to affiliate locations and participate in storm/hurricane team assignments as needed
