Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit RN – Georgia

Start Date: June 1, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Float Pool assignment across all PCU/IMCU units; 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio

Highlights:

• Float to all Progressive Care and Intermediate Care units with cardiac patient populations
• Manage complex cardiac cases including STEMI, NSTEMI, post-cardiac surgery, and chest pain protocols
• Administer advanced cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• May be assigned to lower-acuity telemetry beds within the same unit as needed
• EPIC EMR system in use throughout facility
• Minimal requested time off to ensure optimal staffing coverage

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years recent progressive care or step-down experience in a similar-sized acute care facility
• Strong background in cardiac patient management and critical drip administration
• Badge-appropriate professional photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
