Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: July 6, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Float Pool assignment across multiple Progressive Care and Intermediate Care units; patient ratio 1:3-4

Highlights:

• Float to all PCU/IMCU floors serving a cardiac patient population
• Clinical experience with STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery, and chest pain patients
• Manage cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors
• May also care for lower-acuity telemetry patients within the same units
• EPIC electronic medical record system in use
• Minimal requested time off to ensure consistent staffing and continuity of care

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive care or telemetry experience in a similar-sized acute care facility
• Experience managing cardiac drips and high-acuity cardiac patients
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills for float pool environment
