Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN – Georgia

Start Date: June 1, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Float Pool assignment to all PCU/IMCU units; patient ratio 1:3-4

Highlights:

• Float to Progressive Care and Intermediate Care units with cardiac patient populations
• Manage cardiac conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Administer advanced cardiac drips: Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• May be assigned to telemetry beds within the same units for lower acuity patients
• EPIC EMR system in use
• Minimal time-off restrictions

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia (or compact state eligibility)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of progressive care or ICU stepdown experience in a similar-sized acute care facility
• Strong cardiac nursing background with experience managing drips and high-acuity patients
• Badge-appropriate professional photo and complete demographic documentation required for credentialing
