Description
Start Date: June 2, 2025
Location: Apple Valley, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 0700-1730; On-call required weeknights 1730-0700 and weekends Friday 1730 through Monday 0700; Weekend frequency may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
Highlights:
- 212-bed acute care hospital with 2-room cardiac catheterization laboratory
- Comprehensive cardiac procedures including diagnostic caths, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, pacemaker and ICD placement
- Advanced interventional capabilities: cardiac angiography, peripheral vascular studies, carotid stenting, interventional radiology procedures
- Epic charting system with full interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation
- Free parking provided
- Exposure to diverse patient populations including STEMI, arrhythmias, and vascular disease
Requirements:
- Active California RN license required prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in cardiac catheterization lab required
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers cannot be considered
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience with diagnostic cardiac cath lab procedures, cardiac stent placement, circulating procedures, and right and left heart catheterization
- Ability to work on-call shifts and flexible weekend coverage
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
