Description
Start Date: June 10, 2026 (subject to change based on orientation scheduling)
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Thursday 10:30am-11:00pm, Friday 10:30am-11:00pm, Saturday 6:30pm-7:00am (36 hours/week). Assignment includes rotation between two facility locations.
Highlights:
- 13-week contract with weekend shift coverage
- Diverse case mix including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and vascular imaging
- Work with leading-edge equipment including GE and Siemens systems
- Epic EMR documentation system
- Multi-facility experience with rotation between main hospital and orthopedic specialty location
- Comprehensive patient population spanning neonates through geriatrics
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
- Previous travel experience required – first-time travelers cannot be considered
- ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications required
- Active North Carolina or Compact state license (must be in hand by start date)
- Proficiency with abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion, gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral MRA, spin echo, surface coils, T1/T2 weighted images, and CINE imaging
- Epic charting experience strongly preferred
- Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations required; neonatal, infant, and pediatric experience preferred
- Must be fully available during first week for orientation with flexible start day (Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday)
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
