Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: June 1, 2026
Location: Lubbock, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Block scheduling available (4/3 or 6/8 blocks); 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period; 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio; No on-call required

  • Average daily census of 136 patients with diverse case mix including trauma, stroke, cardiac, and general emergency care

  • Flexible block scheduling options to support work-life balance
  • Collaborative interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services

Requirements:

  • Current RN license (Compact license accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience (hard requirement)
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale
  • Experience with 1:3 patient ratios
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Community hospital and trauma center experience preferred
  • Proficiency in BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line management, IV vasopressors, and dysrhythmia management
