Description
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Alaska
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4x10 Days (four 10-hour shifts per week); some Saturdays required as part of regular schedule; on-call 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend
Highlights:

- Diverse case mix including Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath, STEMI, structural heart procedures (TAVR, Mitral Clip, PFO closures), EP lab, and Interventional Radiology
- Advanced cardiac support experience with IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, and temporary LVAD devices
- Cross-trained opportunity to float within scope to Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology
- Epic charting system with specialized software including McKesson for Cath Lab and MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP
- Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period with minimal call-off risk
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Current BLS, ACLS, and either ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required
- Required experience: Electrophysiology (EP), Interventional Radiology (IR), Vascular procedures, Hemodynamic Monitoring, and Neuro interventions
- Competency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and structural heart procedures
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
- Valid state license and proof of certifications required; pending licenses accepted (allow 10-12 weeks for processing)
- Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
