Job Opportunity – CT Technologist – Alaska

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4x10 Days with 2-3 nights of call per week; weekend coverage required; 70 guaranteed hours per 2-week period

Highlights:

• Low-volume setting in a 56-bed specialty rehabilitation hospital with 10-bed LTACH/ICU and 46-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• CT imaging using GE 16-slice scanner; X-ray coverage with Siemens portable and GE C-arm for MBS studies
• Epic charting system; free parking provided
• Floating expected to affiliated medical center to support staffing needs
• 13-week assignment with ability to request one time-off period; block scheduling accommodated
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• BLS certification current and valid
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Valid state license (pending license accepted; allow 10-12 weeks for processing)
• Hepatitis B vaccine required (titers or declinations not accepted)
• Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
