Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – North Carolina

Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Huntersville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM); 36 or 48 hours per week available; every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 with comprehensive interdisciplinary support
• Epic charting system with modern technology including Pyxis and SBAR protocols
• 13-week contract assignments available with first-time travelers welcomed
• Stroke certified, hip and knee certified, and colorectal cancer certified unit
• 24 hours of orientation including hospital-wide training and unit-specific preparation

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
• Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license
• BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required; ACLS strongly preferred
• EKG interpretation skills and dysrhythmia management experience required
• Proficiency with IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac drip management
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with floating to other medical-surgical units as needed
• Two recent manager/supervisor references highly preferred
