Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Medical-Surgical) – Tennessee

Start Date: June 22, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) with flexible weekdays; 12-hour shifts available

• 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit with manageable patient ratios (5-6:1 days, 6:1 nights)
• Strong support staff including unit secretaries and 2-3 Patient Care Technicians per shift
• Modern equipment including Sara Steady lifts, wound vacs, remote telemetry, and virtual sitter technology
• Meditech electronic documentation system
• Flexible weekday scheduling with every other weekend requirement
• Collaborative team environment focused on patient experience and hourly rounding

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Tennessee (or ability to obtain)
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale and CPI certifications preferred
• Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
• Experience with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Proficiency in IV and Foley catheter placement
