Location: Miami, Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day or night shift; rotating weekends with call requirements including 2 weeknight calls (7p-7a), 2 weekend 24-hour calls per 4-week period, and 1 holiday 24-hour call when applicable

Highlights:

• Work in a 29-bed Operating Room at a 488-bed acute care facility with Joint Commission Gold Seal approval
• Exposure to diverse service lines including joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery
• 3:1 patient ratio with collaborative team including charge RN, clinical coordinator, and surgical techs
• EMR system: Meditech
• Must be proficient in both scrub and circulator roles across all service lines
• Facility recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Blue Distinction award recipient

Requirements:

• Active Florida RN license
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current acute OR experience required
• Ortho, spine, and joint replacement experience required, specifically knee and hip replacements
• PALS and CNOR certification preferred
• Charge experience preferred
• Ability to function as both scrub nurse and circulator across multiple service lines
