Description
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Washington, DC
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total). Saturday worked shift 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM. On-call required: 1–2 Saturday shifts per 8-week period. PACU on-call shifts include Saturday 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, and Sunday 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Travelers select 2 day and 2 night on-call shifts per 8-week schedule.

- Electronic medical records (EMR) system for streamlined documentation

- Must reside at least 50 miles from facility location
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington, DC (required)
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (required)
- Minimum 2 years recent PACU/Pre-op experience (required)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience (required; surgicenter experience does not qualify)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (required)
- CPAN, TNCC, or CCRN certification (highly desirable)
- BSN degree (highly desired)
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
