Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total). Saturday worked shift 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM. On-call required: 1–2 Saturday shifts per 8-week period. PACU on-call shifts include Saturday 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, and Sunday 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Travelers select 2 day and 2 night on-call shifts per 8-week schedule.

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington, DC (required)
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (required)
• Minimum 2 years recent PACU/Pre-op experience (required)
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience (required; surgicenter experience does not qualify)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (required)
• CPAN, TNCC, or CCRN certification (highly desirable)
• BSN degree (highly desired)
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
