Job Opportunity – Cardiac Medical Telemetry Nurse – New Hampshire

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3–12 hour shifts with every other weekend, or 4-week rotating schedule. Patient ratio 5:1 on a 20-bed cardiac medical unit.

Highlights:

• Cardiac step-down and telemetry unit caring for patients with CHF, COPD, chest pain, stroke overflow, and cardiac management
• Diverse skill set including chest tubes, high-flow oxygen, BiPap, thoracentesis, pacemakers, peritoneal dialysis, and tracheostomy care
• STEMI Hospital, Stroke Center, and Level II Trauma Center designated facility
• Meditech Expanse EMR system with strong team support including free charge nurse, LNAs, and unit clerk
• Advanced technology including IV pumps, Sara Stedy lifts, high-flow systems, and BiPap equipment
• Bedside shift rounds and handoff for enhanced patient experience and communication

Requirements:

• Active New Hampshire RN license in hand at time of application
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care
• Experience managing complex cardiac and medical-surgical patients
• Ability to perform CIWA protocols and manage high-acuity patients
