Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Technologist – Virginia

Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment; choice of 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM); one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 2 months

Highlights:

  • Work in a Level 1 trauma center with high acuity tertiary care patients
  • Exposure to a wide range of interventional procedures including vascular interventions, oncology procedures, TIPS/BRTOs, stent grafts, and more
  • Epic charting system in an 8-room department with 2 OR suites
  • Flexible scheduling options discussed during interview; convenient parking available for on-call shifts
  • Float opportunities to OR suites within scope of practice
  • 16-hour orientation with up to 40 hours of approved time off per contract

Requirements:

  • ARRT (R) certification and BLS required
  • Virginia state license required (can submit with pending status; temporary authorization available to begin work)
  • Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience
  • Level 1 trauma center experience required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Required skills: dialysis fistulas, contrast administration, biopsies, ablations, peripheral interventions
  • Preferred skills: pediatric experience, ICU background, kyphoplasty, hemodynamic monitoring, aortic interventions, oncology procedures
  • Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
