Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Technologist – Virginia

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment with flexible scheduling options available: 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM). One weekday call per week and one weekend call every two months. Convenient closer parking available for on-call staff.

Highlights:

  • Work in a dynamic Level 1 trauma center with high patient acuity and tertiary care status
  • Exposure to advanced interventional radiology procedures including vascular interventions, oncology procedures, TIPS/BRTOs, stent grafts, and aortic alert response
  • 8 procedure rooms plus 2 OR suites with state-of-the-art equipment including PACS and Siemens technology
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Float opportunities to OR suites to expand your skill set
  • 16-hour orientation program with module-based training

Requirements:

  • ARRT (R) certification and ARRT Advanced certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Virginia state license required (may submit with pending license; temporary authorization available to begin work)
  • Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience
  • Level 1 trauma center experience required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Required procedural experience: dialysis fistulas, contrast administration, biopsies, ablations, and peripheral interventions
  • Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
  • Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
