Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Highlands, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; 6-7:1 patient ratio on a 24-bed acute care unit

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical acute care setting with swing bed patients requiring geriatric and inpatient rehab skills
• Standard Med/Surg equipment with Cerner documentation system
• Advanced wound care experience highly valued
• Minimal floating requirements
• High-touch patient experience in an affluent community with concierge-level service expectations
• Strong unit culture with excellent teamwork and experienced staff

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina RN license or compact state license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and CPI certifications preferred
• Experience with geriatric patient populations or inpatient rehabilitation strongly preferred
• Wound care skills are a plus
