Description
Start Date: July 6, 2026
Location: Thornton, Colorado
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour day shifts
Highlights:
- 14 LDRP rooms and 2 operating rooms in a busy perinatal unit
- Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines: 1:1 to 1:2 for Labor & Delivery, 3:1 for Postpartum
- EMR system: Meditech with CPN; Beacon fetal monitoring equipment
- Typical procedures include versions, cesarean sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&C
- Travel RN assignment with supportive, experienced team of 60 nursing staff
- Collaborative charge nurse model with dedicated LD and PP coverage each shift
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certification (C-EFM or AWHONN)
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state eligibility
- Prior Meditech experience preferred
- Postpartum experience highly preferred
