Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse Emergency Department – Texas

Start Date: May 22, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week contract, night shift 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, no on-call required

• High-volume emergency department with 48 private rooms, Fast Track, and dedicated behavioral health area
• Patient ratios: 1:4 ED general, 1:5 behavioral health, 1:3 cardiac/trauma
• Comprehensive emergency services including trauma, cardiac monitoring, airway support, and behavioral health care
• MEDITECH EMR system with modern equipment including Alaris pumps and Stryker stretchers
• Collaborative nursing team of 111 staff members with active social committee
• No on-call requirements

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license or multistate compact license
• BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• CPI certification preferred
• MEDITECH experience highly preferred
• Trauma and inpatient holding experience preferred
• Emergency department experience strongly preferred
