Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) – California

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Thousand Oaks, California

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:45am-5:15pm or Monday-Friday 6:45am-3:15pm. Overtime may be required to finish cases. Floating between two surgical facilities may be required.

• Work in a 9-operating room surgical department with state-of-the-art technology including DaVinci Robotic systems
• First assist on complex specialty procedures including spinal fusion, craniotomy, and robotic-assisted surgeries across multiple specialties
• 1:1 patient ratio in a collaborative 50-member surgical team environment
• EMR: Meditech
• Opportunity to work with advanced instrumentation in Spine, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, and General Surgery
• Professional practice based on AORN guidelines

Requirements:

• Active California RN license required at time of submission
• RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) certification required
• BLS and ACLS certification current
• Minimum 2 years of current first assist experience required
• Demonstrated first assist experience with DaVinci Robot, Orthopedic Spine, Gynecology, Neurology, and General Surgery procedures
• Preferred: Spine and Neurosurgery instrument experience and CNOR certification
• Strong physician relationship management and communication skills
