Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Hematology Clinic – North Carolina

Start Date: July 16, 2026
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (5x8 hour shifts). No weekends, no call, no holidays. Clinic closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and Martin Luther King Day.

Highlights:

  • Outpatient clinic focused exclusively on classical, non-malignant hematology including bleeding disorders, hemophilia, anemias, sickle cell disease, and DVTs
  • Daily census of approximately 70 adult patients
  • 13-week contract with 24 hours of orientation
  • EPIC charting system with acute activation user access
  • No floating, no call, no weekend requirements
  • First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcome

Requirements:

  • Current RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; acute oncology or hematology experience will be considered
  • BLS certification required
  • Phlebotomy skills are mandatory
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, central line care, and assisting with bone marrow biopsies
  • Experience with phone triage, patient education, and case management preferred
  • ONS, BMTCN, or OCN certifications preferred but not required
  • Must bring own stethoscope
