Job Opportunity – Surgical Technologist (Cardiac/Vascular/Thoracic) – Georgia

Start Date: October 19, 2026 (following privileging process)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Days; Call 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks (subject to departmental needs); Weekend coverage only required during call rotation

Highlights:

• Specialized cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgical experience required
• 1:1 patient ratio providing focused, high-quality perioperative care
• Epic charting system; Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Floating within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• Heart transplant experience highly preferred

Requirements:

• Current Georgia or Compact state license (required at time of submission)
• CSFA certification required (NBSTSA or NCCSA also accepted)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience
• Cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic experience (non-negotiable)
• Experience with advanced procedures including CABG, TAVR, TEVAR, organ transplant, and complex vascular cases
• Must complete privileging process prior to start (approximately 120 days from signature)
• Full compliance required to start on time; all documents due Tuesday prior to start date
