Job Opportunity – Surgical Technologist (Cardiac/Vascular/Thoracic) – Georgia

Start Date: October 19, 2026 (following completion of privileging process – approximately 120 days)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift with call requirements – 1 day per week and 1 weekend approximately every 4 weeks (subject to departmental needs). Floating within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed.

• Specialized cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgical focus – heart transplant experience highly preferred
• 1:1 patient ratio providing focused, quality surgical support
• Epic charting system utilized
• Comprehensive case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, VAD, TEVAR, EVAR, transplant procedures, and more
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred

Requirements:

• Current CSFA, NBSTSA, or NCCSA certification (required)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience
• Strong background in cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic procedures (hard requirement)
• Georgia or Compact state license required at time of submission
• Must complete privileging process prior to start date (approximately 120-day timeline)
• Full compliance required to start on time; all documents due Tuesday prior to start
